Meet Thomas B. Locke

Thomas B. Locke is the President of Thomas B. Locke & Associates, LLC, a security consulting and investigative firm based in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

Mr. Locke is a 32-year veteran of the Federal Bureau of Investigation having retired as the Acting Assistant Director of the Inspection Division at FBI Headquarters in Washington, D.C. He is a highly experienced investigator and administrator who has received countless commendations from not only the six FBI Directors for whom he has worked, but also from numerous local, state, federal, and international organizations. He has been the on-the-scene commander in numerous terrorism, kidnapping, drug, and other complex crisis management scenarios. He conducted the FBI's first extra-territorial terrorism investigation involving the bombing of the American Embassy in Beirut, Lebanon in 1983. As the events of September 11, 2001 were unfolding, Mr. Locke was called upon to staff, direct, and oversee the worldwide investigation.
